The IAAOI also aims to aid the development of experts and improve the quality and quantity of educational and research activities in the fields of Islamic Arts.
The Islamic Art Association of Iran was approved by the Commission of the Scientific Associations of Iran located in the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, and the IAAOI was registered (with reg. no. 32784) in Tehran's Office of Companies and Non-Commercial Institutions.
